Best way to hide some input

ON REVIEW PROCESS

If I want to hide the fields such as PRICE PAID, AVERAGE PRICE PAID, Pros and Cons,

Do I just edit the template files to hide them? Is there anything else I need to do?

Which are required field, and how do I make it OPTIONAL instead of required?

ON UPLOAD PRODUCT PROCESS
Which fields are required, and how do we hide some of them?
And which field forbids the duplicate name? How do we remove this requirement?

Thank you!

To hide stuff like that on the showproduct page you would edit the showproduct template and remove whatever html to print the stuff you want to remove. That is what is called a code mod.

Thanks Chuck, I just modified my original post above, and wanted to know what fields are required, and what fields input must be unique and how to remove these requirements.

Thank you for your help.

I am not sure any of the variables your talking about are required. If you do not want something to display then you would simply remove and field in the respective template and test how things perform with your changes. We obviously can only support what we write so custom changes would be done at your own risk.
