How do I link to amazon affiliate?

affiliate links are something totally different that what your referring to. The links in our program are what is called dealtime links which enable you to show a link to a specific site to bring up search results based on the keywords present. It would have nothing to do with affiliate links to any specific site.

All the previous discussion regarding the amazon links referred to inserting your userid into that link. I thought this was for the purpose of earning commission on the sales. If not, what is the purpose of having your userid to amazon in that linK?

I can not speak on discussion of users trying to modify the code. I am merely explaining the feature as it is used in our program. It is called a dealtime link and is essentially a search on specific sites. In the show product options in admin one can turn on the dealtime link and select which site to show dealtime links to. This has nothing to do with ones affiliate id on a specific site. If one where trying to change any linking in the program that is caused a code modification. There is no product support for that. I seem to remember at some time awhile back someone asking about how to insert an affiliate link and I remember somewhat telling that user they would have to modify the program's link in whichever way the requirements are for any specific site to pass the affiliate id. I personally would not know any sites policies as I do not work for any of those sites.
