Lost my Upload Products Link AND my upload language variable

ReviewPost5

I wanted my link to say "Add Products". I looked in topmenu in pp-inc.php and see it uses the "upload" string.

I went to the language search and found the "load" variable w/ the text "Upload Products". I changed the text to "Add Products" and clicked the Approve Change radio button & saved.

Went to the Reviews main page and logged in -- userid i have been using to upload products -- the link is gone!

So I guessed something is looking at the value for determining whether to show/hide the option, so I went back to the language editor to change it back -- I CANNOT find the variable anywhere in the language list. Whether I use "Upload Products" to find the original text, or "Add Products", no luck.

I even tried just searching on "Upload" and paging through, but the "upload" variable is nowhere to be found.

Yikes, am I hosed?

string var is gone - or at least empty.

editted menubar.tmpl right after $topmenu:

<tr>
$topmenu {$rp_phrase['load']}
</tr>

'Add Products' is not displayed in the menubar (or any other extra value, for that matter). Then i change it to this:

<tr>
$topmenu {$rp_phrase['profile']}
</tr>

and "Profile" shows up added on top my navBar, as expected.

I then tried using a known, non-existing string var value of 'xloadxx' and it behaves the same as using 'load' - nothing extra is added. I had hoped maybe I'd get an error that the var doesn't exist, so that maybe my 'load' var is still there somewhere....

Running out of ideas...
