Collapsible categories don't work

I have an issue with the "collapsible" categories on my site - when accessing for the first time the Review section (where I have 3 categories) they are all expanded and showing the attached item, and a minus sign icon to the right. Clicking the minus sign icon will collapse the categories hiding the items, but I won't be able to expend them again. The minus sign icon it should also change in plus sign icon after collapsing the categories, which it doesn't. In admin I set my categories with the following options:
Contains products: NO
Parent: NONE
Any hints?

Am I missing anything during categories setup in admin mode?

I have tried a few sites and this works from what I can see so maybe something specific to your site.

It looks like the implode/expand code works in Classifieds, but as I already mentioned not in Reviews. I want to take a look at the relevant source code for both applications (Classifieds and Reviews) in order to understand the mechanics of it and if there are any differences between the two, but I don't know in which file(s) to look. Can you please point me into right direction?

In pp-inc.php do a global search and replace on

cpcollapse and change it to rpcollapse

You will find it twice as a typo in that file.
