How to NOT use images
 

I only want to use text without product photos when I upload a product, how would I do that? NO thumbnails, just text

do not upload an image just enter your title description etc

You should in various places in the program but not the showproduct page in the main display I believe

I never used reviewpost, but in another product I had a similar problem.
What i did, I replaced the no-thumb.gif graphic with the clear.gif of vbulletin.

Yes but that defeats the whole purpose of the placeholder in the first place which you definately want like on showcat or the prev image block on showproduct.

As I said, never used reviewpost.. so i just wrote how I would attack the prob.

If placeholder is the thing, then why not a fully transparent gif of the size of the no_thumbnail.gif...

Yes one could do that I am just saying it would look silly and cause confusion but hey thats just me.
