Just messed up bigtime :(
 

I need some help with Reviewpost i Just changed the folder name because I wanted it to say something other than .com/reviewpost but it messed it up and I cant get back into admin to revert the url settings under global options. What do I do to fix this?

if all you did was rename the directory simply rename it back to reviewpost

If you changed the url to reflect the new directory name then making sure the directory is that name should help

without knowing exactly what the error is all I can do is guess here.

I renamed the directory AND changed the fields to the new directory name in the admin console :( Yikes!

okay well if you changed the urls in database and also renamed the directory and changed the path in the config files correctly you should be fine

It's like the redirect does not work, I changed the url manually from penny-auction-reviews, what I wanted it to be, back to reviewpost and still once it goes to login then misc its a white screen yikes! Thank youThat's what I changed, the URL paths, all of them EEK^^ and need to change back but cant!

okay well you did not just change a directory name. You changed the domain name also and something is probally wrong with your server domain setup not linking like your suppose to link it.

To set things back the way they where upload your install script and rerun your install into the same database and table prefix and install correctly. As long as you reinstall into the same database tables you wont delete anything just fix your server paths and urls.

your gonna have duplicate errors thats no big deal

Your next error place the proper server path to vbulletin etc on the last step of install.

Yeah I did all of that and skipped errors but now the url is gone

When it gets to language strings I get an error page for my blog so it's not letting me finish the reinstall.. How can I drop the tables and just reinstall ? Just delete everything in my db that has the rp in front of it?

I'll just try and uninstall, reinstall in the directory I want... hopefully thats cool.

EEK I dont know what to do, it wont integrate right now that I uninstalled/installed it says register when Im signed in, what should I do? Thanks

Your blog should have nothing to do with reviewpost so not sure what that issue is all about

Ah now it doesn't work again, it wont let me login to the admin section :-/ It logs in then it logs out right away as soon as it redirects make me think its not connected right, blahhhhh I dont know what my issue is!
