recent products not showing on top of index page

Hello,

I am wanting to place the "recent products" thumbnail table on the top of the index page of my RP installation.

In the adminpanel, I set this setting to "no":

Show recent products in default location (bottom)? (if no, will display at top)

But the recent products still shows on the bottom.

I think that I found the issue...

We had not uploaded a product for a while, so when I uploaded a new product, the "Recent Products" thumbs did appear (with the one new thumb) on the top.

yes maybe also a cache issue
