How do I enable Ratings in the Quick Reply

I am confused. I have Quick Reply enabled on the Showproduct page....it has no ability to add ratings...just pros and cons etc.

I have all my user permissions set right. I've seen posts where you've said that this feature should work as long as you weren't the one to upload the product and you have Users allowed to edit checked yes. I have both but do not have a ratings.

I have also seen posts where you said the quick rating is not part of the quick reply and wasn't intended to be....so I ask which is correct and how so I enable a rating on the quick reply.

If it ISNT part of the template then it should be.

Thanks.

As long as its not your product and you have not rated before you should see the display its the top thing on the quickreply but do you have allow rating in admin set to yes?

$ratecode is the variable and its in the templates

Here is the php file code

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Maybe try changing that to

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I am gonna go setup a test and see if there is anything wrong with the default code.

My Site

This is a login....see what you see on your end. I DO have registered users able to rate posts.

You can see that my ratings code is different than what you have posted.....does the (1) make a difference?

This is quickrate.tmpl assuming that is the right template.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

These are my admin settings. I am also a 5.0 Beta user in case that matters.

The quick rating question should be under admin options in admin panel. Those are the usergroup permissions your showing.

You mean the one that simply asks if you want to show the quick reply under the post? I have that enabled.....otherwise I wouldn't see ANY quick reply box at all right?

This is my admin settings both showproduct and admin.

Just a note but I did change the get rating code but it didn't make a difference.

That appears to have done it. The ratings are now showing....corrupt file or something I guess.
