Get images to show on the index page

I have no images in my index page? They show on the showcat page and they are in the showproduct page but nothing on index?

I've seen sites with them showing so I am sure I am doing something wrong...any thoughts?

Thanks.

Shouldn't there be an image here too. Link

It would seem that I saw it on a Porsche site that I linked to from here. Site 9 or something like that...had small thumbs on the front page.

Yeah but I saw a site that had a thumbnail beside each subcat

Is this an option or was it custom coded?
