Admin Move/Delete does nothing?
 

Hi Chuck,

Just noticed something in our RP 4.04 install. The Move/Delete admin option in showproduct.php doesn't seem to do anything. When I click on it, I see: javascript:sendInfoReq('productadmin','164'); but nothing happens, so I have no way of deleting products. I can move a product in editproduct.php, but there is no longer a delete option there.

Help!

Do you have any other javascript that might be conflicting?

You should see when the page refreshes a click box and move box.

I dont really have 4.0 series around to look at but in the editproduct template in our default code I see that you must explicitly in admin options have the users can delete products option in admin options set to yes for the delete box to appear.

My mistake. The move/delete boxes are so far down on our pages that I didn't see them go active when I clicked Move/Delete.

No, our backup box is running 4.04. Our live site is still using 3.3. Is 4.12 the latest?

We have a lot of customizations, so we don't like upgrading unless we have to (such as for security issues). We try to keep our backup box up-to-date in case we have to switch quickly.

Interesting 4.1 the product options where moved higher up in a dropdown menu

In older versions the links where below the photo so the drop down box should be easily seen which is why you have me confused on your version by saying yours is way far down the page.

Yeah, in 3.3, there is no Move/Delete link. They're always enabled when logged in as admin. In 4.04, they only appear after clicking the Move/Delete link. We've recently added a rectangle ad near the middle of the page, so that moved the options down even farther. Sounds like 4.1 is a major change.

In 4.1 there are lots of changes yes
