RP 4.11: How to export translated phrases?

Hi

RP 4.11

I translated many phrases in the new RP 4.11 installation. I would like now to export these translated phrases and import them into another RP 4.11 installation.

How can I do this?

Thanks in advance

There is no export feature.

You can try using phpmyadmin and backup the languages and phrases tables. You could then clear them on the other install and import the backups you just did from the other site.

O.k., I will try that, But to be honest this new way of language treating is a nightmare. I do not mind if you want to have it in the database, but then you have also at the same time to offer import/export possibilities like vb does.

I spent now a week for translating all this stuff manually again, although I did that work already in the past for older RP versions. And now there is no way in the ACP to use the same work for different installs.

This is at the current state a language handling, that is only a pain in the neck and has at the moment only disadvantages and no advantages for your customers.

I strongly susgges that you offer soon teh araeyd suggested import function for pre-4.1 RP versions and a import/export functionality within ACP of 4.1 as vb does.

The more complicated you are doing this language issue, the more people will hesitate to buy this product
