| Error Code 1
I just uploaded about 40 photos and had no problems. On the very last one, however, it gave an error. I tried multiple times but I still get the error
Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1
Command: "/usr/local/bin/mogrify" -size 100x100 -quality 70 -geometry 100x100 ./data//2/thumbs/harley.jpg

First off your data path should be this in global options.
/usr/home/name/domains/domain.com/public_html/data/

There is no where to add a path to "data" in my global options, but if a path were incorrect, none of the images would have worked.
42 have worked and only 1 has failed

Based on your error I am telling you what your data path should be. In Admin Global Options there is definately an option to specify your data path. Also your data directory at every level must be 777 permissions.

Well, I changed the path and now my entire site is totally broken. EVERY single image is gone and now all that is there is the name of the image.
HOW do I get my images back? I changed the directory name back and it's still broken
It was already chmod 777

Fixed. Only had a minor heart attack worrying about it.
Now, the path has to be correct, since all images are showing, no? And all uploaded but for one (and, of course, one of the most important product images)

Path looks like the one you gave me ....
And I still have both php errors

Correct so back to my original questions. are permissions correct on the thumbs directory in data 2 to 777? Is the only file your having issues with this one is it correct other uploads work then its that file its bad.

Yes, permissions are fine and I have redone the file 3 times now, it can't be the file. I do a brand new screenshot then edit it down -- I'm not using the same image and just redoing it.
It opens fine in Photoshop and LView and isn't corrupt
Is there any way for me to change which directory number it is going to, since /2/ seems to not want to work for me?

Got it.
data is 777
2 is 777
thumbs, however, was 755 which makes no sense at all since every other directory has the correct permissions

Just means you missed that when you did the install permissions |
