Linked Sub categories
 

If I have like 100 catagories and I want to have sub categories where maybe a handful of them are the same product (generic products) can I link them up? can i have a the URL redirect to the main category?

Hello products and categories are two separate things so sorry I am not really following what it is your looking to do. Products are held in a category. There is no way to link products with other products.

Sorry confusing.

Im creating a site to review telephone systems. There are alot of products that support SIP phones which are generic phones. they work on multiple PBX systems.

So for example i want a category for Asterisk PBX and a sub category for SIP phones. I also have a category for pbxnsip and a sub category for SIP phones.

I would really like to link the SIP phones together so we are not having 10 categories with SIP phones all with different reviews.

Not really a way that I know to do that. As stated a product is uploaded to a category. it does not show in any other category.
