Additional field Type problem

I have added half a dozen aditional fields to a category and i check in the box to apply these settings to all children. But the additional fields are not showing up in the child. Thanks

I am not seeing any issue on my install with this

Did you check it out Chuck? Did you notice that If you add a child to "campsite" the additional fields created in the parent (which are all drop down boxes) are not adopted by the child.

I am going to have about 50 subcategories so it would be great if you could somehow fix it so I don't have to add those 5 fields manually to all the children.

I added an extra field and checked the add to children box and it was added to the child england without issue

Hi, sorry I didnt get your email. I still cannot get this to work.

When I check the add to children box It wont apply the additional fields to children already created, or to new children.

Yes it adds the details from Extra Field #1 to#6 but does not add the five Additional field types (dropdowns)

What am I missing?

Your not checking the box to add that field to the children when you create it. Remember the checkbox I keep telling you about over and over at the bottom of edit cats when editing a cat.

The ones I redid work fine so it is all user error that I see there is no software error here as it works fine from what I see
