Hello,
My review site is not about products but education courses. How do I change the name from it saying products to courses? Thanks for your help.

You can edit the language file in the languages subdirectory and replace all instances with courses instead of products

Hey Chuck,
I replaced all instances with CEU's in my reviewpost message board. However if you visit my site ( www.reviewaceu.com ), I was unable to find the instances for
1.Welcome to the My Product Gallery!
2. Products of a particular type
3. My Product Gallery-Main Index-Powered by ReviewPost
These were not in the english.php file. Any idea where I can find these instances. Thanks.

Well the second should be in a language file as well as part of the others. I think your issue is your trying to search for the whole string. Example on 1 and 3 the MY PRODUCT GALLERY YOU CAN FIND IN GLOBAL OPTIONS IN ADMIN the rest are language strings in part

When I try to edit my language to change all instances of "product" to "Item" I keep getting the following message:
Warning: fopen(/home/fhlinux166/m/motorhomefun.co.uk/user/htdocs/reviews/languages/english.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/fhlinux166/m/motorhomefun.co.uk/user/htdocs/reviews/adm-misc.php on line 5120
Unable to write changes, permissions on english.php are not set properly.

Is there any way to set the language strings on a per category basis?
I'm trying to use the script for a site where one category would be film / dvd reviews and the other one would be home entertainment gear, so the language strings / fields would need to be different

It is a per template basis not a per category basis
You must create ad type templates for different categories to be assigned to and then those template types can have their own language strings
