Keywords in Title

Hi Chuck,

Last year I had some questions for you regarding changing the page titles of my product pages. Here's the link to that post:

Changing Page Titles?

I just realized the page titles with the product keywords are not working anymore. So, I checked my showproduct.php file and it had this code...

if ( !empty($title) )
{
printheader( $cat, " $title" );
}
else
{
printheader( $cat, " $bigimage" );
}

So, I replaced the word title in the code above with the word keywords like you said to do before. I uploaded the newly saved file, made sure my keywords are set to yes and my keywords on the Yankee Candle page of my site, for example, are not showing in the page title. Here's a link to that page of my board...

Any idea why? I'm running 3.32.

Thanks,
Carolyn

Double check your script and verify the title variable name. Maybe it is $ptitle or $fulltitle

Hi Chuck,

I just checked the script and here's what I have...

if ( !empty($title) )
{
printheader( $cat, " $keywords" );
}
else
{
printheader( $cat, " $bigimage" );
}

Is the other "title" word in this supposed to be changed to "keywords" as well?

The script already has the proper code and if the photo has a title it will display the title in the page header.

The product does not display keywords in the title and if thats what you want to know about your free to post in the code mod forum on code mod questions.

I'm confused Chuck. I thought you said before, if I modify the code, it would put the keywords in the page title?

I don't use photos on my board.

Maybe so but we support our product how it is written and I do beleive if a title is not empty it will show a title. Your trying to do something that does not exist in the code. Thus you can always discuss in the mod forums how to hack your code should you wish to do something it is not suppose to do

Thanks Chuck. I just posted in the mod forum. I hope someone gets back to me. I'm assuming there are no other help forums for ReviewPost other than your site, correct?
