Custom Fields

I'm a little confused. I've seen custom pal's but can't work out what they are supposed to be used for since I don't seem able to display any.

Anyway, I want to add a few fields to the stand review template, like URL to manufacturer, and Recommended Retail Price.

Can you tell me how to do this please?

In your Admin => Edit Categories is where you set up additional fields for products and reviews
