How do I add products?

I've just installed ReviewPost and added categories ok. I'm trying to add products without success.
When I try to upload products via the user index page I get a message saying

You do not have permission for this action!

It's integrated with VB3 and I'm logged in as admin, and it's set to allow product uploads by users, so I can't figure out what the problem is.

Is there a way to add products via the admin CP?

Also, is there a manual (looked and can't see one) to guide you through setting the software up (apart from installation)?

You need to set permissions in

Admin => Edit usergroups
