Phpbb integrated after Reviewpost or should it be done vice versa?

Can the Phpbb forums be integrated into the Reviewpost or should it be done the other way around? I have my Reviewpost already set up on my site but kinda wonder if I can just install Phpbb to one section of the site and still have members be able to login with Reviewpost and be able to communicate with others in Phpbb. Is this possible?

Our integrations work by integrating with the forums which means the forums need to be installed first because we use the forums users tables to grab users.
