HTML in product description

Hi,

I've embedded the following code in one of my product descriptions:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Strangely, I get a whole bunch of spaces between the text and the table (see http://www.pentaxforums.com/lensrevi...php?product=19). There's nothing wrong with the CSS, but I must be doing something wrong. What the problem here?

Thanks

Your getting a break printed after each td your using. without more info on what your doing I can not be sure what your issue is. You entering this in the product description? If so try entering the html without line breaks between it

Yes, I simply entered the above code in the description.

I'll try removing all the breaks now- that's a feasible reason for the errors.

Thanks!

I just tested it out, and that got it! The HTML is a bit harder to edit now, but it'll work.

Yes she what happens your entering that in the description window and for display we CONVERT RETURNS and clearly your example you kept hitting return to make the html look pretty but that adds a break

And now I have arrived ...

Possibly in the next version (if there is a next) html could be posted in a more natural configuration and we wont have to eliminate breaks? Easy enough to run the code through a program and eliminate white-space, but it is another step I wouldnt think should be needed.

well just a simple issue that we convert returns. If you do returns and breaks your going to get double spacing which would be correct with what your doing. A return is a break and then your putting another break. We process returns into breaks which is normal.
