Question about Upload Product Page

I'm having a problem with my Upload Product page so temporarily I am not allowing my visitors to post new products (candle companies). As a reference, you can view my upload product page at the link below...

http://www.candlefind.com/candle-rev...oadproduct.php

You'll see on the page above that the first form field says "Enter the Name of Candle Company" That's always been where I or my visitors enter the name of the candle company we'd like to add. The next form field below that normally says something like Product Model Number, but I deleted that in my language file because I do not want my users to use that field. Up until just recently, myself or a user has been able to successfully add a company to the board without filling in that second form field. Now, if nothing is entered there, when I click submit at the bottom of the page, I get an error message that says "Title Field Must Not Be Left Blank." This wasn't happening before and as long as we were entering something in the very first field where it says Enter Name of Candle Company, the new company was successfully submitted. Now that's not working...I get that error message about the title being blank. I was just testing things out and got the error message when I clicked submit. So, I went up to that second field that normally says Product Model Number and entered something. I clicked submit and then the product is successfully submitted, but the thing is, with the kind of board I'm running where I just want the name of a candle company and not a manufacturer and a product, is there anyway to delete that second "title" field that's normally labeled Product Model Number from my form? I'd just like to enter the name of a company on the first field and have it work. I hope I can do this.

Thanks,
Carolyn

Obviously you had hacked your previous files to not do title and do just manu. title has been a required field for a long time. I would suggest you flop as stated your fields just remove the manu html and change the title name in the language file to reflect what you want it to say and you will not have that issue

Hi Chuck,

I see what you're saying, but whenever I upload a test product and just enter a title in the title field and not the manu field, when the product is added to the category, it's not listed in alphabetical order. Here's an example, I just uploaded "Test" product to my category...

Candle Companies S & T

As you can see at the link below, it's listed above all the candle companies that start with the letter S. Why? The weird thing is when I used to add a product with just the manu field, the product would go in alphabetical order. Strange. How do I get whatever product is entered in the title field to be listed in alphabetical order on my category page?

You can also just simply remove this from your uploadproduct template also
