Product price search

Is there a way to add a custom link option to the Product price search list? Everything in there is currently irrelevant to my RP usage and is understandably disabled.

If not, can this feature be added to RP? A simple non-techy way to have the application scour any website globally inserted via the Admin end for whatever product variables are in the PRODUCT TITLE field? It will work just like a Search Engine, but it will search only specific URLs for an item if a user decides to LEARN MORE about the item.

Sounds easy describing it here, but I suspect it will be a toughie. If doable, it should give RP a new boost of life. Its already the underdog here anyhow.

Have you tried the dealtime link thats on the showproduct page? that does exactly that if I follow what your asking

custom link option, Chuck. For instance, I have a partner website that will never EVER get into your list of options because the products I review are not products everyone's interested in. So I want the products reviewed to be searchable on this website. That requires a basic customizationthat could also be a hot feature. Dealtime serves no purpose in this case.

If this is something custom on your part simply add a specific case in showproduct.php where we define those links and in adm-misc.php make a option in the drop down box for that option.
