Won't allow uploads, help

I don't think this is a PhotoPost issue, but any suggestions of why this happens would be much appreciated. :) BTW this not only happens with Classifieds but also with the Gallery.

I get the following error statements when upload/submit in classifieds:

Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/tmp/phpzT5CAw) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/isbuild:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/isbuild/public_html/Classifieds/image-inc.php on line 55

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/var/tmp/phpzT5CAw) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /home/isbuild/public_html/Classifieds/image-inc.php on line 55

and using the Gallery I get this:

Unable to move file [/var/tmp/phpzT5CAw] [/home/isbuild/public_html/photopost/uploads/3/Fgallery11-8-a.jpg]

You're help will be much appreciated in solving this puzzle:confused:

Well are you uploads paths correct? Are they set to 777 at every level?

open_basedir is set which means any server path has to be in the same server level like so your uploads path should be 777 and be this in global options. Just verify your paths and permissions on both applications.

Hi Chuck, thanks for confirming of what I've already checked many times. Strange thing is, no one has changed anything, and then one day it does this.

I tried posting without uploading a photo and FTPing a jpg to the site ("bypass approval process and upload all files in directory"). That way, it works. But uploading "From my Computer" brings on the errors.

I'm still puzzled by the following statement, it makes me believe this is a Server provider problem.

Unable to move file [/var/tmp/phpzT5CAw] [/home/isbuild/public_html/Classifieds/data/1/Fgallery11-8-a.jpg]

Thanks,
Matt O.

Just tried to send you that info. Your security rejected my mail and came back to me with a "could not be delivered" msg.
