Supressing Extra Fields

Is it possible to set Extra Fields so that only an admin can edit them?

For example:

I want users to be able to upload products and fill out extra fields 1 through 3, and not even know that there are other extra fields.

Then I want a mod or admin to log in and fill out extra fields 4 through 6.

So really no one but mods and admin can edit some of the extra fields, but on the profuct page everyone can view them.

If not, should I move this to the mods section?

Thanks!

If it's the first six extra fields that you're referring to then it would be a case of a template edit. Edit the 'upload product template' and remove extra fields 4 to 6.

You dont need to delete them just add in the showproduct and upload templates for those conditionals something like this in bold

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Most excellent Chuck, that did exactly what I was looking for. :)
