How to change font size for the Category column.

www.rig-talk.com/reviewpost/

Currently, I use the Silver stylesheet. I can change the font size by changing the "medium" option in the stylesheet.
Quote:
small {

font-size: 10px;

color: #FFFFFF;

font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;

}

.medium {

font-size: 10px;

color: #FFFFFF;

font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
But, that also changes the "Admin, Home, etc..." and the "Recently products, etc..." rows and I do not want that. Currently, I'm using the <fontsize = 3> html tag for each category and subcats. That is a pain and I'm wondering if there is another place I can edit font size besides the stylesheet.

I just noticed this in the title bar after clicking on any category. It adds the <font size> tag. That's pretty weak:

Is this something your adding a title tag in a browser page can never have html in it as it will never parse and yes if you change the medium tag is how you control the font size. You may elect to create a new style class called maybe cattitle and change your categories template to use that instead of medium so the rest of your format is not changed. We use a uniform stylesheet throughout the program and you can customize as you choose.

Yeah, the medium controls the font size for 2 or 3 different fields. I'm just curious about category titles alone. I'll look in to changing the template, that sounds like a plan!
Tell me how to change the category template real quick. I'm using silver.css, which template does that point to? I was looking around earlier for it.

Thanks for the help!

you add a new style name in silver.css and call it what you want and make the font like you want and then in categories template you change the style class from medium to the new name

Admin => Edit Templates and select the category template and find say this

$Style['medium']

and replace with your new class you added to the silver stylesheet say example

$Style['cattitle']

Thank you! I've been looking for those files, but was used to seeing *.tpl as the extension. Gotta get used to the new lingo.
