Google's displaying product filenames in search results

I've just googled on a product name that's in my RP. The text that Google's showing in the listing of sites it's found is:
Product1.jpg. Product 1. Product2.jpg. Product 2. Product3.jpg. Product3

Is it possible to better layout the page so that Google's not displaying the product filenames?

google uses the alt tag and the alt tag of the images correctly shows the image name

I suppose then the only way around that would be to have a bit of text that appears before the 'latest product' thumbnails.
