Make More Adsense

With the templates of RP littered with the word 'cat', Google's Adsense keeps auto-generating adverts about cats - even though my RP pages are all about books, cameras etc.

Any idea how I get a more logical result fom Adsense?

Sorry no I do not. I am not too much into adsense but they should be able to give you some pointers.

Is there any easy way of renaming 'cat' to something else so that all the RP urls have a word that's more relevant?

I guess the answer will probably lie in vBSEO renaming the links or a similar fix as the RP urls seem to be a big part of the problem.

Well your answer would lie in not having VBSEO interfere with our program. I do believe they have some code to not let it run in certain directories

I'm not actually using vBSEO for RP at the moment, but if I do use it to 'interfere' it will hopefully help to solve the problem as it will get rid of the showcat/cat URLs etc

No not yet, I'm using the meta keywords from the vB forum, which are relevant, but maybe not close enough.

I'll give it a go and see if it works

Thanks

VBSEO interferes with any program tied and running the vbulletin header system

There is some code you can place in the htaccess file to bypass the photopost directory
