How Risky is This? Check here to recalculate product numbers and check children. I moved two cateogories that also had children to the top level of my category list. The children display in the standard view, but they do not in the category maintenance screen in "Admin". I need to do futher maintenance on the categories, but the first level children are "greyed" out indicating no children below them, but they are surely there in the standard view (as they were before I moved the categories). Is it risky to run the above process? I can't afford to have the product IDs changed, i.e. recalculated. Thank you. |
This just recounts the photo and comment counts per category totally safe |
Next step? So what would be my next step to fix the fact that a category in Admin says it has no children, but the standard display shows seven products in that category? Thank you. |
children and photo counts are two different things. You have an example? |
My apologies I realize that I'm all wet here. I was looking for the products in the category display; just confused from working with two different products lately. Sorry to have taken your time on this. |
Not a problem buddy |
