Must be missing a setting

New install seems to be working fine. I can create categories and sub-categories but when I try to create a sub of a sub-category I receive the following error.

Error adding new category to the database. Returned id was 0.

I can add other categories such as a new top and a sub of that one but if I try to add a third level I get that error. Am I missing some setting somewhere?

Interesting I can not replicate that and can add a third level cat. Try downloading the code and upload the main php files and test again.

What version of the software you using?

Latest version! I just purchased this Friday. I'll give the main php files a shot and see what happens.

Same thing after uploading a fresh download and replacing main php files. Very strange

Okay well I just did a brand new install and no issues adding a subcat to a subcat worked fine

I would suggest you PM me with admin login and url and ftp access. If you get this error you should have a mysql error as well and I need to know this to assist further on the issue.

I beleive I asked for ftp info and never recieved. Resend all info
