Product title NOT spider friendly URL

Hi
I've got spider friendly URLs "on" and they work great, except one thing...

In the categories / subcategories page view if you click on a products image you get a friendly URL like:
/reviews/showproduct.php/product/10/cat/3
if you click on the "reviews link" you also get a friendly URL like:
/reviews/showproduct.php/product/10/sort/8/cat/3/page/1
BUT if you click on the product's title (which is the most important one - it's the most obvious one for the visitor to click on and uses the keywords) you don't get a friendly URL but something like this:
/reviews/showproduct.php?product=10&cat=3
Can "product's title links" also lead to spider friendly URLs and how?

ALSO could the spider friendly URLs become even more friendly?
Instead of using category / product id could they use - title instead?
Thank you

In showcat.php lines 519-520 should be this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

I would suggest you pasted something incorrectly when editing the file.

Try a clean file and just replace those two lines. Delete the ones there and replace them with these two. I use spider urls here and they are fine

Well I am sure you could hack your files to achieve that although it would from what I see would require a new variable name since cat is reserved in all files as the numeric id. Something that surely as a company we can look at in future versions.

Every comparible product we work with that has spider urls uses the shortened urls of some design as the way as it is done now. Our spider friendly urls are similar to vbulletin and ubbthreads forums.

Thank you Chuck but i rather not go that deep. I'm pretty sure though if you include this in a future version it will be very welcome from everyone
Thanks again
