Unregistered Reviews

Look at this series of reviews... After a unregistered posts a review, it keeps the same location if an unregistered user posts a review after the previous post...

Any ideas on this?

I think you need to look at whatever modifications you have done to your site. Our code does not show locations for unregistered users. We call the get_profiledata function in ib2.php to grab a users profile data based on userid. For an unregistered user this query is NULL

Can not find ib2.php??? I have not modified anythign related to this... Only formatting items on the showproductpage above...

ib2.php is in your forums subdirectory of reviewpost.

What I am saying is this. We don't show any information for an unregistered user at all. This is an absolute. Location is only shown for a registered user.

You state you have not modified anything yet why does those last two unregisterd posts have a location?

I see that if statement in the showproduct.php file...

I know the same location shows up, that is my issue... I'll keep looking around... Do you still have a test site, that I can try as an unregistered user?

Well that is weird but try editing showproduct.php and place the profile stuff in a conditional clause like so add in bold

That fixed it just fine... I don't why it wasn't working, but that did fix it...
