vBulletin integration

First of all, great script. Just what i need. But I have a small issue with the mechanics of the integration with vBulletin...

If ReviewPost is integrated with vBulletin, then when a user clicks on the "Register" link in ReviewPost, he or she is redirected to the vBulletin registration page. My reviews page is called *****Reviews, and my forums page is called *****Forums, so this can be very disorientating for the users.

Is there any way in which ReviewPost and vBulletin be integrated, but the user still sees the registartion page of the script that he is using at the time?

I'm considering NOT integratingthe two apps (or the other scripts on my site) as this is a common problem with many scripts and is very off-putting.

Any help is very much appreciated.

I am a verified member

I've just purchased a ReviewPost license, but 'Verified Member' isn't showing up under my name yet. Hopefully it now that I've posted again.

Unhappy

Anyone have any ideas on how to allow the user to register on the ReviewPost registration page while still sharing the same user database as vBulletin?

It's mind-bending stuff. Could you imagine visiting ebay for the first time and trying to register on their homepage, but then being diverted to the PayPal registration page? Nobody would use it.

ReviewPost is actually much better than i thought it would be. Compared the hideously over-priced [Perl] script Red Queen, it's an absolute bargain. If only I could get this to work...

That looks pretty complex, and I don't really want to go messing with the code in my vBulletin app. Also, I checked out Chuck's Reeftalk and even there, when you click Register on the reviews section it takes you to vBulletin's registration page and presents you with the Forum terms of agreement, not the Reviews one.

I really want two completely seperate areas, with different logos (i.e. ****Forums and ****Reviews, but sharing the same user database.

I think I may just keep them seperate. There are a few good reasons too:

1) I don't think my users would appreciate being automatically registered to a part of my site that they may not wish to use.
2) If I want to send an email to the users of the forum, then even people who don't use the forum will get an email.
3) Users may not want to associate their forums username with the reviews section, and vice versa.

If you integrate with a forum the registration is handled by the forum.
