Spider Friendly URLs

Has anyone elese turned on this option? Will this make google spider my site, so they show up in google? I typcially have not used this option before, but wanted to know if this will get better with google if I turn this on?

(Also using Google Adsense - so trying to get better search ads from this)

Any advice out there? (you also have to fix your relative URL paths)...

I use it on my site. You have to make sure that you have mod rewrite running with Apache, otherwise it wont work.

It would be in your httpd.conf file.

Man, it sure would be nice if this worked on IIS. I wonder if you install one of the DLLs in IIS that enables mod_rewrite if it would make it work. Anyone tried this before?
