question on reviewpost path names

I recently purchased reviewpost for my website and noticed that my menuing system does not work once I start drilling down into the categories and then I noticed the url had changed to (as an example):

http://www.mysite.com/reviewpost/showcat.php/cat/2

and my menuing software is loaded in a directory below review post. This does not occur in the version of photopost I have been running on the site....

any ideas why?

I do need to work around this because I have 81 categories and can't create a bunch of new subdirectories.

thanks in advance...

Well since you did not provide a link or what you mean by it does work I am gonna guess

Turn off spider urls Admin => Global Options or fix the relative paths in header.
