| Upload Product (in a Category)
Is there a way to make the default upload whne you're in the correct difectory, to make it default tot he same category that you're in...
I have lots of categories, and it takes a while to scroll through the entire list... Can it default to the right one by default?
If not possible, what mod can be applied to allow this?
Thanks -

in uploadproduct.php add the lines in bold Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

I tried this, but do not see a difference in how it works...
Any other ideas? Let me know, and I can share you my admin/login information...

If you applied this to the uploadproduct.php file and you are in a category and click upload it takes you to the second step of the upload process with the category you are on selected.

I added the following code into my uploadproduct.php Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
when I go into a category, then click on upload product, it just defaults to the highest level...
Any other ideas on what to look for... I tried a few different things, locations of this, and still can't make it work... I can drop you the login, if you would like to try...
Thanks -

It works fine as I posted it to take you to the general template section
I do not recommend this next part though as it does not give you a way out if you make a mistake but you can add this in bold Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Chuck -
Would this have deleted the admin access on each product page to allow to move the product to a new category??? The admin section on each page to move the product is now gone... I ck=hecked and made sure it is in the template, for admin user 1, and I am that user, but is not showing up anymore...
Ideas?

Has nothing to do with admin access nor showproduct pages this is an edit to uploadproduct.php.

Before I start a new thread, where would I look if this is not showing up? It it still in my template... All I added to showproduct.php was that last conditional I added...

Your losing me here this entire thread is about a hack you wanted in uploadproduct.php. Where does showproduct.php come into this discussion?
The quickmove box is not going to show if you are not admin mod or the poster and user delete option is off in admin options. Did you turn this off? Did you turn off quickopts switch in pp-inc.php? Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
