Review post layout

Hello,

Thank you for the quick installation of review post for me

I am now looking to setup my phpbb2 integrated review post section, and I'm having a bit of troubles with the layout. Before purchasing, I noticed another site that was using review post, and I wanted to setup something similar. The site I looked at can be found at http://reviewpost.com/sites_frame.pl...e.net/reviews/

What I am trying to do is have my review post broken down by state--city--nightclub. On the index, I would like viewers to only see the States, after clicking on a state, they would be able to see the cities. In each city, you would then see each club, and when you click on the club, the review would show. Do you know the best method of doing this? Right now as I'm still setting everything up you can see the state and the city on the index page. This is my link http://www.hotclubforums.com/Club%20Review/index.php

Also, am I suppose to get this when I attempt to click on the Richmond link?

"Parse error: parse error in /home/www/hotclubforums.com/Club Review/showcat.php on line 650"

Hello

The parse error is gone. Just a corrupt file.

Now if you want to do the specified setup in Admin => Index Options simply set your catdepth to 0. Then Admin => Edit Categories make all the categories and subcategories you wish. With catdepth to 0 it should display as you outline above.

Thank you Chuck,

I am wondering if this layout can be done with phpbb. Notice how in the first pic in the circled area, the space to the right of the text does not have any info in that space for what I'm assuming is the top level category

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Now notice how mine has the fields beside my top level category

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Is there a way I can make my layout look similar to this, or does it look different because I'm using a different forum program?

I'm also looking to get rid of the text which is circled in pic below. Do you know what I would need to edit to accomplish this? I have made edits to the lang. to delete the "average price" text that was right above it.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Also, I noticed when I was testing different features, when I attempt to add a image to a product I get this error:

Warning: unlink(/home/www/hotclubforums.com/Club Review/data/9/2430_spider-thumb.JPG): No such file or directory in /home/www/hotclubforums.com/Club Review/image-inc.php on line 329

Error creating resized original! Error code: 1

Okay well the new layout your trying contradicts the way you wanted it done in your first post but basically in Admin => Edit Categories you would set a category to NO THUMBS meaning you can not upload to it to be a top level parent only.

You can get rid of the text by editing the english.php language file and making the language string that says non indicated empty

As far as file deletion issues I would need more info and have to look at it. All your directories should be 777 unless something is preventing them from being set properly so I will have to see what I can find out on that.

I didn't think the second would be much different, then again I might not have explained it very good. In the pic below I tried (key word tried ) to make an example of what I'm looking for. Notice how where it says nightclub reviews it's blank all the way across, but below begins the state Categories only showing the state, but once you click the state it will then go to the city, then club. I was also wondering about the expand/collaspe button I have circled...do you know where I can find that option?

In your last post, you said I could go to Admin---edit category---no thumb. I didn't see the option for "No thumb". Also, is there a manuel anywhere explaining all of the functions in the Admin panel. I'm one of those few ppl who acutally takes the time to read through that stuff, so I don't have to keep asking you questions later

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Hello in Admin => Edit categories. If you edit a cat there is a No Thumbs or Contains Products more like it set that to no.

Okay well check your install out. I did a test and go see if you can modify it to how you want to. I set it up like your description in the first post says

Not exactly the layout of the last post, but I like this one you made a lot better. Now the only other problem is the upload image not working.

Thank you very much for your help this far.

Wow, I feel like an idiot now

I was tinkering with so many of the settings, I just didn't know which one caused it to display that error.

Thank you very much for helping me with my questions.
