is there a way to create a new item using the information from a previous item?

For example, I have products that are similar, and would like to quickly populate a review with another product, and simply change the details on one or two of the custom fields...

For example same product, but different models for different cars...

Would like ot start with the original, and then quickly be able to create new ones for each model for different cars...

Does this make sense?
