RP integration problem

Hello, Chuck. So, here is my problem - files attached. The first one is the usual view of my forum. The secod view with RP on reviewpost/index.php.
As you can see, I have a custom skin and many troubles are connected with this. So, my troubles:
1. Style chooser, its a javascript switcher for color style each user prefer. It does'n shows the link of each color theme css, also you can't choose color style when you in RP, it's only possible to view with default skin color.
2. Search window, I need to save usual skin position and look
3. PM reminder style, I need to save usual text size and color.

Is here any possible solution?

Thanks in advance, Vladimir.

Vladimir

I would suggest as with most things in our vb FAQ if your using custom styles custom non normal vb stuff from a default vb you make sure all paths to images scripts etc in that custom implementation be full urls so things can be found.

Thank you much, Chuck. It works, but not everywhere. I'm still have troubles with search window and PM reminder's text size/color
Can't imagine where i can find their paths, I've digged the whole templates set from footer to threadbit, all that are red colored and changed all urls i could find. Captures are included.

Maybe look at your style class names? They cant be called search usercp etc as that will conflict with the rewrite of urls but not much I can say with captures. I would need to see the actual site.

rename all the styleclasses searchBox, searchButton and searchBoxInput to something else say srchBox, srchButton and srchBoxInput and also change the class names in your header template and you should be fine

Hello again, Chuck! I'm sorry for disappearing. Thank you very much for your help. I've changed the styleclasses names and all seem to be fine in that way. But I've found some other problems:
Firstly, when I go to the My Products page, Watch List or Profile it shows me Page not found (1st attachment).
Then I can see some warning about cp1251 charset not supported.(2nd attachment) How could I correct it?
And also when I try to create a product It can be created, but I can't log in to see it - "page not found".
And the last: Member list isn't integrated with forum's member list.

So I guess there are some mistakes with paths, but can't understand where. Can you help me?

Thank you in advance.
Vladimir

Your charset is incorrect. try utf-8

also your setting in admin global options set the spider option to NONE.

My forum uses cp-1251, and I'm going to translate RP phrases into russian, so I need cyrillic. Do you think utf-8 is OK in this case?

Great! Now all the links are working right, but I still have no any member in member list and I think that forum's search has'nt any connection with the ReviewPost.

And another thing that i found. There is cp-1251 set in the first attachment and utf-8 in the second. UTF works, but you can't read vb part and in my forum's charset you also can't read RP.

Understood. Example is attached. I've marked two areas that I've translated, which have to look exactly. Other parts that are not in english aslo have to look the same as an example. When I did RP-phrases translation there was UTF-8 charset, so If we'll change the charset, I need to translate it one more time.

Right what I am saying is your last image posted seems to suggest it views fine

I really cant respond on this issue without the information I suggested earlier in this thread. ftp access and an admin login to photopost. You can send info through the contact us link. I have a few ideas but I would have to test them out.
