Chuck,

Your Chuck_S account should still have admin privs from the last time you checked out my site, if it doesn't, let me know.

With regard to checkign it out, here's what I suggest you do.

1) Look at how the articles display now, for example look at the articles posted in the last week, specifically the one for hte Motor Lux side skirts. I just fixed that article so view it first.

2) then go into the admin panel and change the editor from basic to OFF.

3) Then go back and view that same article. Suddenly there is a bunch of HTML showing in it and the pics don't display.

4) Try to edit the article, look at the text in the edit box, there is NO HTML, just BB code. Abandon the edit, don't save or save if you want but I don't think it is necessary.

5) Go back to the admin panel and turn the editor from OFF to Basic

6) Go back and view the article and it will be magically "fixed".

Now you'll start to see what I am getting at, the way in which the article displays is somehow dependent on the editor settign and it should NOT be.

let me know ifyou need more or if we need to get on the phone together and I can walk you through some of this. Happy to do so!

I will PM you my cell phone #.

Chuck,

I just went to edit your acount on my site and something is messed up with your account, it displays that it is in the administrators group, but then causes a SQL error in the admin panel beyond that. Let me know ifyou have a problem logging in, I'm going to see if I can run some tool to fix whatever the problem is with your account. Just seems to be yours at the moment for some reason. I will also PM you the admin account login info just in case.

Chuck,
Your account is fixed btw. Also when I try to submit or edit an article when the editor is set to Basic mode using IE 8 I get the following error:

Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.2; WWTClient2; MS-RTC LM 8; MS-RTC EA 2; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729)
Timestamp: Thu, 24 Sep 2009 17:19:06 UTC

Message: Expected identifier, string or number
Line: 492
Char: 14
Code: 0
URI: Login - My Articles

If I use FireFox the basic editor shows up just fine with no errors.

If I use Safari the basic editor works as well.

Just an FYI that there might be an IE 8 issue with the basic editor.

Chuck,
Sent you email, not sure what you fixed, but it appears to be working normally now as it should, the editor is OFF and HTML is OFF and the articles all show up fine.
