Emails getting to the wrong person

The last week I get reports from members that they get email notifications of comments on pictures of other members, is this just a couple of bits getting the wrong turn in space, or a bug, is there something that can be done?

The same is with vBulletins Personal Messages system.

Software: VB3 3.8.2, PP 6.2

1. We dont use the vb personal message system

2. Users would get notifications for any photos they elected to get notifications for or any category notifications they setup. They can view there photopost profile and unsubscribe to any category or photo they no longer want notification on.

Ok, but when I give an photo comment on a photo of mr. X in PhotoPost, the resulting email that will be send may end up in the mailbox of mr. Y a totally wrong address and that's what happend on a view occaisions. That I find strange and I have not a clue what might cause this, that's what I ment. I don't think it's a case of subscribing or not to a particular photo in this case.

With the intergration of VB3 and PP I do only use the PM system of VB3

The only way an email is sent when a comment is made on a photo is if that user has subscribed to the photo or category the photo is in

Photopost in no way uses the vb private messaging system.
