Same discussion we have been having pp-inc.php you replace the one letter line the un_htmlspecialchars one with those 4.

I uploaded a 4.11 build with any fixes.

Hi

I exchanged my pp-inc file with the new one from 4.11. It works now perfectly with HTML e-mail set to "no" within ACP.

The umlaute in the subject line and within the content of the e-mail are displayed correctly. Also the structure (line spaces) are correct.

Just for your information: If I set in ACP HTML e-mail option to "yes", the umlaute do not work. Neither in the subject line, nor in the content of the e-mail. Structure is correct.

But I do not mind, since I prefer non-html e-mails anyway (and I guess most of the users). So I am totally fine with this solution.

In this new upload 4.11, did any other file except pp-inc.php change?

Just for your information my testing with the new build which is a wrap up of any discussion here was done with html email set to yes. The changes I made would not matter whether html was set to yes or no really. It merely converts the html code back into the actual character. Thats what html_entity_decode does. The only two changes was to add the html decode lines and then an if clause to use nl2br if html email is set to yes for line breaks thats it.

I tested really with it on and off and all works for me.
