RP 3.33 phpBB Bug - User Reg Sys reverts back to reviewpost

Setting #41 (User Registration System) keeps reverting to reviewpost. I've set it a few times now to phpbb but it keeps reverting back on it's own. I've noticed this happen probably about 3 times now.

FYI, it did this before my upgrade to RP 3.33. Any ideas?

First you can only set it to phpbb2 or phpbb3 and ONLY on install so if your doing anything but properly installing through the install script it is not going to work.

You can not set this through admin panel so if this is what your trying to do it would not work.

Chuck, it was set correctly. For unknown reasons that setting in the mysql database keeps resetting to reviewpost. I didn't change or go into the admin panel.

To reiterate, I had a fully functional working installation and somehow the one field in the db gets reset from phpbb3 to reviewpost. I am the only one with access to the db & server and nothing else was changed. When this happens users get strange error messages in the ReviewPost user interface and I go into the db and change that field back and then everything works fine again.

I am clueless as to why this has happened. It's 4 days later now and I've had no problems.

well all I can say is this is not a setting you can change through admin as its protected so you do not break things so it would appear if it is set to reviewpost this is how it was installed but at any rate you can go through phpmyadmin and set it correctly or run though install. Settings do not change without someone changing them.
