Thats not really a hack that I would give any pointers on. Thats a complete rewrite lots of code and new templates. Lots of work for sure. You would have to check out reivews.php and the reviews templates to see how we do that for the comments page.

Chuck,
To follow up on this one I have a set of custom BB Code tags called HIDE and /HIDE that create a box of hidden text and provide a button to show the text and a link to hide the text. It is controlled by the following code:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
This used to work in ARticles in ReviewPost in the past, but currently the "SHOW" button that allows you to show the hidden text isn't showing up itself. This works fine in the forums but not in REviewPost after some upgrade I made awhile back. I'm assuming we had to tweak some file before and that the upgrade killed the tweak but I don't recall what that tweak was to get it to work.

Can you help me out again?
Thanks!

Honestly I would have no idea without knowing what it does or whats different between the two.

You would have to do the same post on the forum and reviewpost and see whats different in the source.

Our application uses the vb bbcode parser but remember if your using some sort of custom code with relative image paths or such they may not work outside the forum.

BTW I think this is the mod on vbulletin.org that this originally came from.

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...=184855&page=2

As you can see no custom images, only straight forward HTML code using DIV tags.

I'm not sure why it works fine in the forum but not in REviewPost.
Something with DIV elements not being supported in ReviewPost without a tweak?

You know what I bet it is Chuck, I bet you aren't allowing people to use "input type" in this case it is a button, because that's usually associated with a form and form fields and I could see where you'd be leery to let people use those. As I recall there is some place in the code, one of the config files, where you can allow (or not allow) certain custom codes or words, and I think last time we had to add the work "input" or something like that to the file to get the button to show up. Where is that located again?

You would be correct you are not allow input tags in comments or descriptions

That is in pp-inc.php you would need to edit the un_htmlspecialchars function and add input on the line as one of the supported html codes allowed.
