Average Rating not working The average rating feature doesn't seem to be working for the products. When pulling up an idividiual product, the summary box at the top has a field labeled "Average Rating" - on my screen - every product I look at says "none indicated". My assumption is that this field sould be an average of all ratings given, correct? Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? |
http://www.reeftalk.com/reviews/show...ct/1666/cat/72 Try redownloading the package and reupload all files except the config files |
Okay, I downloaded the files and upgraded to Reviewpost 3.33 but still no "Average Rating" display. It just says "None Indicated" on all reviewed products. |
Yes you have an example here? I beleive the example provided shows this works so lets try and figure out why yours does not show make sure to have an example url and a test user login posted here |
Thanks Chuck. Here you go: http://www.ncangler.com/reviewpost/s...php?product=14 User: testcase PW: gotest3 |
Please post a working login ;) |
Oops! Sorry about that. I could have sworn that I created that user. I have it created now and working. Thanks! :) |
Have you tried in scan database running the rebuild reviews option? Allow rating is turned on right? See this code is unmistakable in showproduct.php Code: Content visible to verified customers only.AGAIN with my testing I see no issues using default code and this function. I would suggest you upload all clean non modified files to your site except the config files and run any missing upgrades. |
I uploaded clean files yesterday before sending a link. The only options I see in Scan Database are:
Where is the "Allow rating" option that you referred to? I've looked through all the options several times and do not see it. |
BTW I am subscribed to this thread for instant email notification but I do not receive an email notification when you reply. I checked my email address in my UserCP and it is correct. Any ideas why email is not being sent/received? |
no ideas about the email I get the subscriptions Basically you need to email support@photopost.com with admin login url and ftp info because your site is definately not performing like a unhacked site as clearly I have shown. So we need to go see what we can find |
