Display products with no photos..

I am using the latest build of 3.31. I used to have all products with photos included. Then I uploaded many products without photos, and after disliking how the recent products list looked (with a bunch of "no image" text), set "Display products with no photos in features?" back to "no". Now there isn't even a Recent Additions section. It only re-appears when I set "Display products with no photos in features?" back to "yes". When I set it to "no", shouldn't it show the most recent additions that have photos? Thanks

No it should not if your using recent ads and all the recent ads have no images.

We limit for performance reasons the number of queries pulled so we try 10 extra results above what you want to display and then filter permissions so if you want to show 12 ads we pull the last 22 results and filter the permissions. If not one result is permissible to display either by cat perms or has no photos then you will not show any results.
