It's not possible to use the same photo in more than one product...(FIXED)

Since upgrading to RP3.11 I have the following problem:

If I upload the same photo to a different product (or delete the photo and upload it again to the same product) the following error message is generated:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(D://Inetpub//wwwroot//reviews//data/12/1Club-Wotever-0511xx1.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\reviews\image-inc.php on line 55

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\php87E.tmp' to 'D://Inetpub//wwwroot//reviews//data/12/1Club-Wotever-0511xx1.jpg' in D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\reviews\image-inc.php on line 55

and... my /forums directory is deleted! Yes - you did read that right my /forums directory gets deleted.

I've just taken a look at the files on my server...

Photopost has created the following directory: D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\reviews\data\12\1Club-Wotever-0511xx1.jpg\ - it's taken the filename and created a directory using the name of the photo. What's in that directory?... evrything that was in my /forums directory.

well line 55 of image-inc.php has not changed in many many versions nor has the function

$check = move_uploaded_file($tmpname, $dst_file);

As far as uploading files of the same name you not suppose to be have the images the same name on the 6 boxes on upload.

Now the bulkupload code already has the ability to rename images but its just for one cat. So this should solve the issue of moving images.

In uploadproduct.php delete this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Then the script should rename any files you upload.

I made the suggested changes. I've just gone in to edit a product as I wanted to change the photo (same name but different content as the photo's a newer one) and same problem.

Why is RP deleting my entire forums directory?

There is nothing in our code that says delete or move a directory. I can tell you this.

You can PM me info about your setup and I can take a look. The code I did post indeed fixes the issue with future files being renamed incrementally. Now the code here is not for editproduct.

you can not upload a photo with the same name on editproduct it will not take. As soon as we see its the same name we dont do anything.
