| Array Text in Quick Reply(FIXED)
Using Reviewpost 311
Vbulletin 3.0.5
For some reason in the quick reply box whenever a comment is made the next box has an 'array' text in the Positive aspects field and the Negative aspects field.
This was present also in the last version but I thought it was my only on my site until I have seen it on NJ Flyfishing's Site also.
So whenever someone uses the quick reply and doesn't change those fields an array gets entered into the database.
See screenie-
sorry chuck I don't mean to be your worst nightmare customer ps.......just to prepare for my next bug try entering email addresses and web urls into the fields and then editing the review....... |

LOL
In showproduct.php replace these
$pros[$itemnum]
$cons[$itemnum]
with this
$prostext[$itemnum]
$constext[$itemnum]
In the showproduct templates replace these
$pros[$x]
$cons[$x]
with these
$prostext[$x]
$constext[$x]

I did the above steps then had to remove my templates folder and re-upload it to get it working again.

Not sure what happened here. But, I performed the steps above and saved the templates via the reviewpost admin panel. Then I loaded up reviewpost and the entire review was gone. So I figured I'd look at the templates via the admin panel to see if I screwed up. Turns out that the templates no longer show up in the admin panel but they were still in the templates directory. strange...
Anyhow, if you can shed some light on that, terrific... In other news, let me tell yah what a dope I am. Not realizing what a great product Photopost is... You know, the ability to add more fields then have them display in a nice table, etc... All this time I've come to realize that the answer was right in front of me. What a dope...

Chuck I tried this and although I noticed that the 'array' text went away so did the pros/cons text that was submitted.
For example:
Pros: It is Kalk for $2 a pound!
Cons: All the pickle jokes
Became,
Pros:
Cons:

This has already been applied to the current download and works as noted so I suggest downloading the build and uploading the showproduct templates and showproduct.php

I'm saying if I look at old reviews, the pros and cons are there until I do the fix, then they go away.

Clearly do not know your issue if your using the proper templates and showproduct files http://www.reeftalk.com/reviews/show.../cat/36/page/1
Only thing that would explain is your not allowing your files to be overwritten

Well I would suggest you delete from your server these files
showproduct.php
templates/showproduct.tmpl
templates/showproduct1.tmpl
templates/vb3enhanced/showproduct.tmpl
templates/vb3enhanced/showproduct1.tmpl
Upload then the files from the distribution clearly
$prostext[$x]
$cronstext[$x]
are defined and used for $prosline and $consline array

Ok I did. Still the same.
I just downloaded this over the weekend. I have version 3.11.
It has:
$pros[$x]
$cons[$x]
in the templates.. I think I only changed one showproduct template, I will change them both and see what happens..
