Duplicated Category Problem(NOT A BUG)

Hi,

I've just re-ordered a couple of product categories in the Admin section - when I go back to the main index page, it is showing duplicate copies of most categories and many copies of the "Accessories" category (which is the one that I re-ordered the sub-categories in).

Also, the (# viewing) shown after each category is completely wrong.

Here's how it looks currently:

Make sure your using the current pp-inc.php this was a bug fixed a couple weeks ago

You will need to reflush your cache after uploading the new files.

Ok, before I do anything else, do I need to download RP 3.1 again and then upload all the php files (except config-inc)?
Should I also re-upload the sub-folders - images, languages etc?

And how do I reflush the cache?

Not if you just downloaded the latest build no this was something fixed a while ago.

Seems like you did not do as WB stated and reupload all the new files when you asked.

Basically upload the new files in Global Options set your cache to 0 and then in edit categories edit a category

This should update things

OK will do that now... thanks! :-)

I held off re-uploading because this problem appeared first.

OK, I have downloaded the latest 3.1, re-uploaded all the top-level php files (except config-inc), set Minutes to cache index page data to 0, then re-ordered a couple of categories.

However, the category problem is still present on the index page, and I can now see all the duplicate categories listed in the Admin options.

Right, I think I've fixed it now. I didn't realise that I had to make a change in every top-level category to get it to update.

Yep problem was the children field getting whacked out so editing the top level parents solves it
