| VB 3.03 and RP 3.1 problem(FIXED)
Have a look here http://www.guitars101.com/reviewpost/index.php when I create a new subcat it automatically populates it with an entire page of the same thing. I have also tried removing all the catetories to start from scratch and when I empty it I get this error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/vhfansco/public_html/reviewpost/pp-inc.php on line 2338
which goes away after I add a parent category back. Could this be caused by the VB 3.5 upgrade? There are a lot of differences between that and the 3.0x versions and I noticed the installer has only VB3.

Okay I tried it, I still get the same results. The only difference now is that after I add the parent category and the sub is that they are all listed in the category admin as well.

Turn off your cache to 0 and then edit your categories
The scripts I noted here are valid to fix an issue I found when you tried reordering the cats in edit cats it would cause exactly what you have.
You might actually need to go in and clear in phpmyadmin the children field in the categories table first and reset the children

There is nothing in the children field. The two settings I can find for cache are "Enable IP Cache Timeout" which is set to 0 and "Minutes to cache index page data for featured photos, statistics and PALs?
Number of minutes to cache information. Default is 10 minutes, 0 means no caching." which I set to 0 and it doesn't fix it.
I have also noticed that if I create the subcat I am taken directly to the "Reviewpost Category Editor" page. If I don't click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom, it won't create all the extras, appearing to work correctly although I haven't tried to setup anything past that point.

Your install looks fine now. You may set your cache back to 10 or whatever

It only works if I add the catetory and don't hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom, so I am unable to edit any of the categories. For example have a look now, I edited one of the catetories and saved the change then suddenly it's loaded with them again.

You sure you using the files I sent?
You would need to email me me ftp and admin access mysql would help as well
I go to edit categories in admin I have tested add edit empty delete sortsubcats basically every option under there with no issue. The issue you are dealing with is the one these 3 new files fix. Basically anytime you where on the main edit cat screen and tried changing the cat order things broke and display as you note above.

I am positive that I overwrote the existing files with the new ones you gave me. I have emailed you my info.
