Single sign on - Not sure if it is a bug(NOT A BUG)

Hi,
I integrated phpBB and reviewpost for a client that bought the product. I installed phpBB and reviewpost and integrated them as said here and the users are shared, so is the stylesheet and it works like a charm, but I was wondering if it is possible to avoid uses logging in twice when the go from one script to other. Meaning that if I log in into phpBB that I can go to the reviewpost and be recognized as being already logged in.

Am I clear? Is this possible or I have to deal with it myself coding it?

I have been playing around with the cookie settings but for instance if I set the variable cookie domain, I cannot login to reviewpost anymore. It says that I was logged in successfully but the user is not logged in at all.

I read the forum but I could have this one cleared out by myself.

I hope I was clear. Thanks for your help.

Hello you do not have cookies configured right I assume here

I would make sure both products are set as such below to have integrated login

cookie path /

cookie prefix phpbb2mysql

cookie domain .domain.com

I cant seem to make it work

Omegatron,

Thanks for your reply.

I am testing this in my local machine so I assumed that domain was "localhost" in my case, right?

Assuming that previous statement is correct, I get the problem mentioned before: I try to login in both products and altough I get the "login successful" confirmation, I am not logged in at all.

Am I missing something else here?

Sorry to be a pint in the b*tt but not working yet.

Omegatron,

Leaving emtpy the domains gives me the original config which allows to me login in both apps but does not share cookies at all.

I assume that locally I cannot make it work.

I will try this once I have it uploaded on the clients domain and see if it works.

Is there anything else that might be avoiding the cookie sharing? I mean server config, anything?

Thanks for the support.

Omegatron,

It worked online, not locally but I am cool with that. Thanks for your help. You are free to close this one!
